According to the credits, he's played by a guy named Denis Lawson. Sure. Fine. Whatever. You'll never convince me. He's Denny Laine, co-founder of the Moody Blues and guitarist/vocalist for Paul McCartney's Wings. Now, you're probably thinking, "She's gone dotty!" But don't dismiss this outright. Examine this album cover:
Denny's the guy on the far left. (The other two are Paul and Linda McCartney.) You can't tell me that he doesn't look exactly like Wedge!
Other evidence:
The actor's (supposed) name is Denis Lawson. Hmmm...Denis Lawson, Denny Laine...can we say similarities?!
In Return of the Jedi, Wedge has a very faint trace of a British accent. Sounds like someone's trying to hide something, huh?
